Tim Richter is based in Sydney and is a postproduction designer for film and television. He helped establish Ständige Vertretung in Berlin where he spent six years living and working as a graphic designer before returning to Australia.

A regular guest lecturer in Media Arts at the University of NSW College of Fine Art, Tim graduated from the Australian Film Television and Radio School in 1999 with a Masters (Hons) in design and animation for Film and Television. He was screen graphics supervisor on the Matrix sequels »Reloaded« and »Revolutions« and has been involved in titles and visual design on numerous TV commercials, promos, feature films and music videos. He recently received his second Australian Film Institute award nomination (visual effects) for his work on the feature documentary »Unfolding Florence«, by Director Gillian Armstrong. In 2007 his animated documentary »The 3G of Us« was nominated for Best Foreign Animation at the Shanghai TV Festival's Magnolia Awards.

Tim is currently in development for a children's animated educational series for Nickelodeon Channel.
